Photography | RECESS
Recess is home to Chicago’s largest outdoor patio. Located in the West Loop, they boast an impressive beverage program paired with elevated American Cuisine. This lively (and dog-friendly) serves up good times and zero red tape with their tongue in cheek governmental theme. Playing off of their “adult playtime” vibes, bright and vibrant is perfect for this brand and I wanted that to reflect in their imagery. Since working with Recess, I have created a cohesive and engaging social media feed with images that are full of life, and drool worthy offerings (not to mention increasing their Instagram following by over 8k).
PHOTOGRAPHY | UNTITLED SUPPER CLUB
Located in Chicago’s River North neighborhood, Untitled is a seven-time selected Michelin Bib Gourmand restaurant. Untitled’s menu features modern, imaginative, yet approachable reinventions of classic dishes. American Whiskey is at the heart of the beverage program offering the largest curated selection of American whiskeys anywhere in the world along with a curated signature cocktail menu. By shooting with high contrast lighting, I was able to capture the drama and mystique of the venue while highlighting their bold use of color throughout their offerings to make every dish and drink stand out.
DESIGN | JOJO’S milk BAR
Now known as JoJo’s Shake Bar, this 90’s inspired, nostalgic restaurant serves over-the-top milkshakes begging to make an appearance on your Instagram feed (and with over 30k Instagram followers they are bound to pop up). This design was inspired by the classic classic diner with injections of childlike playfulness with its bright color palette and playful iconography. For this brand I created an entire suite: business cards, loyalty cards, signage, website, menus… you name it!
